He is also a tutor at two accredited coaching schools (Kingstown in Dublin and Barefoot, based in the UK).
Els DEBOUTTE - Vice-President
Els is a coach, trainer and co-founder of Make me Fly!. In 1992, she began her career after completing a Master’s degree in Psychology, not without a few setbacks and difficulties. Like any beginner, she had to find her way in professional life. This is why she obtained a second Master’s degree in Music at LUCA School of Arts in 1998. She worked and learned in recruitment and selection, training, consulting and HR within reputable companies such as SNCB, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, DuPont de Nemours and Imec.
However, a persistent feeling of professional dissatisfaction remained. She wanted more meaning in her work, and to be able to make a difference for the people who asked for it. She developed her skills as a coach and continues today to train in various coaching and support techniques that draw on positive psychology, such as Solution Focus or Solution-Oriented Work. Coaching and training are, and remain, her passion.

Laurence MEDRJEVETZKI - Director
Helping individuals’ uniqueness shine for the benefit of the collective!
Laurence is an executive, manager and team coach who works with both SMEs and large groups. Over the past ten years, she has supported her clients in developing their potential and performance.
Having been aware from an early age of the subtlety of intercultural nuances through growing up abroad (17 years in Mexico and the USA), and drawing on a career in which she successively worked as a business lawyer, an organisation and strategy consultant, and then an executive (Managing Director of the French subsidiary of a European administrative and financial services group), Laurence has extensive hands-on business experience.
Driven by the desire to make full use of her human sensitivity while also leveraging her business knowledge, she naturally turned to coaching and trained in individual and team coaching at HEC in 2005, then at IFOD, where she later helped train future coaches. Since discovering The Human Element, Will Schutz’s thinking has profoundly shaped her practice and approach.
Passionate about alternative management approaches and the liberated companies movement, she works with leaders and employees to support them on their path to liberation and to foster individual maturity and collective intelligence.
Through her coaching, she dedicates her work to developing the performance and effectiveness of individuals, teams and organisations. Deeply attached to the relational dimension between people, she supports her clients closely in gaining a nuanced understanding of their individual and collective dynamics and in finding their solutions. She coaches and facilitates in French, English and Spanish.
A participatory way of working for our members:
At European level, one of EMCC’s key objectives is to develop standards, ethics and a code of conduct to ensure quality in the world of coaching, mentoring and supervision.
Working groups have been set up at European level, in collaboration with people whose expertise helps these different groups to progress.
At local level, our association operates in a participatory manner, with each full member committing to contribute at least 15 hours of their time per year.
This time is devoted to the running of the organisation in various areas. Whether you want to play an active role in the evolution of the coaching profession, drive forward certain topics that particularly resonate with you, or simply provide occasional support, we will be delighted to welcome you.
